Employee Assistance Program is a tool created to help employees effectively overcome their problems in any area of life. It is based on a confidential consultancy service which is provided to the employee by qualified professionals – psychologists, psychotherapists, legal and financial advisors.

How does it works?
Employee Assistance offers consultancy services to employees
provided by qualified professionals – psychologists,
psychotherapists, lawyers and financial advisers, while confidence is guaranteed.
Once the service is active, any employee covered by the program can use its benefits. The first contact is established by contacting the Employee assistance consultant—either via a phone call or email. The goal is to establish communication, identify the topics of interest and organise an in-person meeting. If necessary, the consultant can provide „remote“ intervention.
Employee Assistance Service is offered based on an agreement between the employer and Assessment Systems. The Service may be offered to all employees or a selected group. The program is paid for by an employer in flat-sum, depending on the number of employees enrolled in the program. For employees themselves the use of the Employee Assistance Program is free of charge.

The number of employers and organizations using the EAP has never been higher. Recent surveys have shown that approximately 75% of all US organizations use EAP services.

A survey conducted in Employee Assistance (EAP) companies showed 60% success rate of preventive measures. Employees who used the EAP program were able to prevent a decline in labor productivity, with the value of these potential losses being estimated to be 17 hours per person. In 72% of cases, labor productivity even showed that labor productivity grew by an average of 43% per case.

Approximately 15% of the total number of employees is responsible for 90% of the absence of the company. In 61% of cases, psychological problems are the cause of work incapacity. Statistical Statistics Canada reports that the average employee spends 8 days a day in incapacity for work, the average of Czechs is 19 days, incl. injuries 21.5 days (2006).

He is currently studying single-subject psychology at the Charles University and in the past he also studied at the University of Economics, at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics. In Assessment Systems he focuses on psychodiagnostics. He is the coordinator of the Employee Assistance program, providing promotion through professional journals, portals, and business partners. Last but not least is in charge of organizational issues related to Employee Assistance and employee contact with other professionals.
